 Kaitlyn Sparks is a country singer-songwriter from Melissa, Texas. When she was a young girl, she was inspired by her mother to become a performer. She taught herself to play guitar when she was eleven years old and started writing songs as soon as she learned a chord progression. In 2014 she pursued her dreams of going to music school at Berklee College of Music and graduated in the spring of 2017 with a degree in songwriting. In the fall of 2017 she moved to Nashville, Tennessee to establish herself as a country music artist and writer and currently travels between Tennessee and Texas performing her music. Her debut self-titled EP released on August 2, 2018. Kaitlyn has sung at many venues around Texas such as The House of Blues Dallas, Hanks Texas Grill, Cadillac Pizza, Red Brick Tavern and was one of the finalists at the Blue Light Live singer-songwriter competition in 2018. Kaitlyn and her band also performed at Lewisville Western Days 2021. From the heartbreak of a farm town turned city in her original song “Paving the Backroads” to the anthem of “Blame it on My Boots” her down home sound is sure to have your toe tapping. And more new music will be releasing in the spring on 2022.
